Indicative render, confirmed on surveyFrequently asked
What goes wrong most often in a bathroom?
Waterproofing and falls. Tiling straight onto plasterboard, or a floor that does not drain to the waste, causes leaks that appear months later. We tank wet areas properly and set the falls before tiling.
Can I add an en-suite where there is no drainage?
Usually yes, either by running a new soil connection or with a pumped waste. Head height and joist direction decide which, so it is worth checking on the drawings before the layout is fixed.
Do I need building regulations for a new bathroom?
For a new bathroom in a previously non-bathroom room, yes — ventilation, electrics and drainage are all notifiable. Replacing like for like in the same place usually is not.
Does Suddeco do the building work itself?
Yes — all of it. Suddeco designs, handles planning and delivers the build with its own project management.
