Skim or full replaster?
If the existing plaster is sound and flat, a skim is enough. If it is blown or damp, skimming over it only hides the problem. We tap the walls and tell you which one you have.
How long before I can decorate new plaster?
Usually one to four weeks depending on thickness, ventilation and the time of year. Painting too early traps moisture and the finish fails, so it is worth the wait.
Do you decorate as well as plaster?
Yes. On our own projects the finishing trades are part of the programme, which is why the final week does not slip — it is the stage most often left to someone else and most often delays handover.
Does Suddeco do the building work itself?
Yes — all of it. Suddeco designs, handles planning and delivers the build with its own project management.
