Will my boiler cope with an extension?
Often not. Adding rooms adds radiators and hot water demand, and an undersized boiler shows up as a cold room at the far end. We size it against the finished layout rather than the current one.
Underfloor heating or radiators?
Underfloor suits solid floors, extensions and bathrooms, and frees the walls. Radiators are cheaper to retrofit upstairs. Most jobs use both, decided per floor at drawing stage.
Can you move the boiler?
Yes, subject to flue position, gas run and access for servicing. It is a good moment to do it if you are already opening up floors or walls.
